AIM AND OBJECTIVE
Pujyasri Swami Dayananda Saraswati’s wish to contribute to the protection of our ancient manuscripts will come to fruition with the inauguration of this digital library. It will gives access to lakhs of manuscripts on various subjects in Sanskrit language like Vedanta, Agama, Stotra, Kavyas, etc. Students, researchers, and all interested people can comfortably read the digitized versions of these manuscripts. The advanced technology of this digital library allows researchers to magnify even a letter to a size when they can decipher easily. As of now, three researchers can simultaneously access the manuscripts. It is also planned to make available Pujya Sri Swamiji’s lectures on different topics on Indology, which will be kept in this library in the form of audio CDs and DVDs.
We hope this digital library satisfies the educational and intellectual needs of thousands of researchers in the field of Sanskrit and its allied subjects. The ultimate goal of Pujya Sri Swamiji is to bring the culture and the tradition of our country together in one place.
We appeal to all the individuals, Institutes, Libraries and other organizations to help us in procuring manuscripts and also in digitization of the same. We also appeal to Philanthrophists to fund this Himalayan Project.
Please come; Let us join together to make the vision of our Guru. Pujya Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswati, a reality. This is our great opportunity for Samarpanam on His Satabhishekam.
